30 Day Wrap Challenge Day 9: RHC Robbins Hip Carry

Robbins Hip Carry looks really pretty. I don’t use it often, mostly because my baby LOVES to lean, partly because it kills my shoulder.

Because my baby loves to lean, it makes the top rail tighten and dig into my neck really badly.

If he is in a sleepy mood and I need a good hip carry, this one works if all I have is a longer wrap (or if it matches my outfit best). This is a great hip carry for someone who only has their base size wrap.

When making the plunge into Babywearing with a woven wrap, the most versatile wrap will be your base size. For the average parent, a size 5 or 6 is perfect. This makes most hip carries pretty difficult to figure out what to do with the rest of the fabric!
