Today I show you a carry that is typically “reserved” for younger babies and newborns needing kangaroo care. This is a pretty easy carry to do with a baby who still has frog legs tucked in, but here I have Alasdair in the wrap at 10.5 months old and 19 lbs. I show two possible options for tying the ends, I prefer a nice wide pass with this carry as this wrap is a little bit thin and diggy, so the wider the passes, the better spread out his weight is on the wrap and it does not dig as much.
I adjusted my shoulder passes after the video tutorial, and made an extra flip so I turned a full 180 and had the red rail close to my neck. I just had a bit of extra material I didn’t like. Alasdair didn’t seem to care, and he fell asleep a few minutes later 🙂
